Lets try and make these abit more frequent.. i intended to write blog posts quite often but has since realised that i dont actually do enough model work to write them often enough so lets write some that dont contain pictures of my models but just words instead because words deserve love too damnit!!!
On Sunday i went to a Malifaux tournament at the Heroes and Legends store wich was a ton of fun.. had three excellent games and ended up with a second place =D Awesome!!
I do wish i had been abit more speedy in my execution of the third game and abit more knowledgable about the special rules on my models as that might just have given me that critical extra Victory Point that would have secured me a first place but i still had fun so thats what really matters in the end..
Ill give you my list just incase any of you play Malifaux or are otherwise interested in knowing what i brought with me..
Yan Lo
The Soul Porter
Chiaki The Niece
Izamu The Armor
3 x Ashigaru
It was a pretty decent list as it turns out.. the Ashigaru are tough as fuck.. way more then i thought they would be and Izamu shined that one round where i cheated in the Red Joker for his damage flip and tossed 10 damage on a Snowstorm ^^
I had absolutely ZERO use for Chiaki wich was entirely my fault as i do acknowledge what she can do but im just completly inept at actually using her properly so she will be swapped out for my brand spanking new Yin The Penangalan wich i bought as a second place prize for myself instead of a personal pat on the back!
With the list i ended up with 6 Stones for Yan Lo and most of the time i ended up trading the maximum three for that amount of Chi to start off with and it mostly paid off it seems.. I heard some rumours that Yan Lo might loose the whole path system in the new 2.0 version of Malifaux wich i must admit would make me a very sad panda as thats the whole reason i bought him in the first place but we shall see once i get my hands on the book..
What have i got planned in regards to modeling for the next while you ask ?
Well i need to finish up the bases of my HOTT army and seal the damn thing just for the sake of completion.. I also have some conversions planned for my Britanan force for Relics and hopefully i will get a Dreadball team painted up so i have a nice one to play with.. the guys at the club enjoy pointing out that my teams are not even undercoated yet so i will need to do something about that i think ^^
I must try and not set too many goals in regards to painting and modelling as i seem to grind to a halt whenever the projects pile up infront of me so i think i shall leave those three things as my work list and try and finish up some stuff before moving onwards..
I think this will do for now and hopefully i can put together something interesting more often now that i dont plan to attach photos of stuff every time..

March Madness.. this fits better with March!!
Woohoo time for updating!!! =D
I know i have left you all without my insightful comments for way too long but fear not.. your dose of mini goodness has arrived so sit back jack in and enjoy the fuck out of these lovely images!!!
First up are 2 pictures of my Hydra that i finally managed to get done.. it still needs its base (like the rest of my HotT army) but thats a minor issue.. its painted.. thats awesome.. goddamn awesome!!!!
I went with red eyes green scales and orange spines with a nice wash to add some depth to it all and i must admit i am rather pleased with the outcome..
Next up is a (blurry and dark) picture of my entire HotT army all lined up and ready to go.. its been a hard road up to this point but damnit its worth it.. im loving the orange and green together..
All thats left is to throw some flock on the bases and seal the lot of them with some varnish spray and if they are lucky ill even build a little box for them to be dragged around in.. i know im too nice to them but ahh well they deserve it ^^
And now on to my next project.. PUPPETS!!! =D
Here is Belmont nearing completion.. he is missing his eyes and some work on his coat and a wash but thats about it really.. i love his little goatee.. its awesome!!
And ofc lets not forget that he is a frakkin puppet!!!
Here we have one of Belmonts minions.. he is ready to wreak havoc on the Kings enemies (he keeps forgetting to bring ammunition to the fights so he uses his rifle as a club.. he has become rather fond of quoting lines from Braveheart while smashing Nuem faces in!)
Hopefully i wont be a lazy fuck and will actually get some more work done soon and therefore also put more posts up but we all know that i am most likely going to be a lazy fuck.. ahh well ^^
See you on the dark side of the moon earthlings!

February Madness!!
Right so i need to write another blog post to make sure this thing wont die off before it even began so here you go earthlings!
First up i want you to feast your eyes upon the Relics kickstarter!
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/torgaming/relics-reinforcements
Relics is a wonderful skirmish game with some interesting and innovative rules regarding combat and spell casting.. at first glance i did not think it would work but having played it i can say that it really does work really well!
Next up i will throw some Relics models at you cause were on the subject and noone likes to change the subject.. atleast no on my blog!!!
I have been gifted with a starter for the Britanan faction wich is a bunch of british looking puppets in the service of the King! I cant begin to tell you how amazing the models look.. very stylish and definetly sticking with the theme of little puppets!
Here is a shot of some of my puppets after assembly..
They were a little difficult to get on the base as i was afraid the little wooden peg legs would snap but thankfully it all went okay and they are now standing on the base and ready to wreak havoc on the Kings enemies!
Next up is a picture of my Company Seargent Major named Belmont! Here he has gotten some basic colours on and is looking much more like the fierce leader that he is! At some point he will also be joined by his trust bugle playing aide Wiggins!
And ofc he cannot go into battle without some troops to order around!
I am planning on giving them green coats with black hats and cream white cloth.. it should look nice but we will see once they are closer to being finished ^^
Last time i showed you my Deneghra with abit of colour.. i have not finished her (more or less) and so here she is!
Not the best picture but it will do for now.. her spear is abit bent but im not that good at working with this type of plastic yet so for now this will have to do..
I have started work on the next part of my Cryx force.. a Slayer Helljack!
I got some interesting stuyff planned for the big armour plates on him so hopefully if everything works out i can show that off soon.. for now he has had two coats of dry brushing done and so far im rather pleased with the result..
I also finished the little froggies so here you go.. enjoy!
I am so happy with how they look.. the base is not done yet but they really do look like little tree frogs so im well pleased!! =D
Here is my behemoth for the force..
He doesnt really have much paint on him yet but it is still one hell of an impressive model!
Lastly here is a picture of the finished leader for my Hordes of the Things army.. he has his trusty slug with him so dont go throwing insults at him if you are not prepared to be fed to a giant slug!! ^^
That is all for now.. i will strive to post another blog post soon (i know promises promises ^^) so you can see some more progress abit faster.. family is coming over for a visit soon tho so that will take some time away from painting and modelling..
Stay frosty Earthlings!

First post of the new year!
So.. i finally realised that i can give titles to my posts o0
Some of you might be thinking "idiot".. and youd be right =P
Anyway its a new year and hopefully the start of some excellent shit!
Here i am btw hard at work.. what a busy little bumblebee i am.. aww yeah!
First up for you today i have a picture of Deneghra.. she will be leading the forces of the Dragonfather in the near future and hopefully she will not disapoint.. currently i have applied two coats of drybrushing to her.. first a bronze one and then a silver one.. next up is the cloth with will be brought back to pure black and then drybrushed (yes i love drybrushing!) with a dark green and then a lighter green so hopefully i can show that off soon..
Second i want to show off is my little Frog dudes.. they are the basic infantry for my Hordes of the Things army so i am trying to get them all done in one go.. there are 5 bases with 5 models on each base giving 25 of the little fuckers in total.. thats 100 hands and feet that i have had to paint.. fuck o0
Its been totally worth it tho as im loving how they look.. the camera is slightly shaky but dont worry thats just me not having had enough tea.. i will try and provide more quality pictures as time and work progresses! ^^
Here is a base before i did the hands and feet..
And here is a base after i have done the hands and feet..
The Red blob on the spear was an early attempt at that particular part of the model but i have since then decided that i am going to just paint all those blobby bits a nice cream..ish colour..
Hopefully in the not too distant future i might actually have a fully painted army.. how about that =D
Welcome to the new year Earthlings!

2 Days and 2 posts.. is it christmas ? nearly! =D
Friday i took my HotT army out for a spin.. me and my better half vs two guys from the local club..
While it did eventually end in defeat it was still a good learning experience..
Sneakers are absolute trash.. why those little buggers exist i will NEVER know o0
My Blades did exceptionally well but of course i would say that considering they were the only ones to actually lay low any of the opposing forces..
But when it all comes down to it then im sure it will be more impressive once it is all atleast painted so lets hope i get that sorted in the new year! ^
Here are a couple of pictures from the event.. i apologise for the shakiness but using a camera phone is as always a questionable idea at best!
To finish off i have here some fiction i wrote for a battle of Dystopian Wars in wich my Empire of the Blazing Sun battled against the dastardly Kingdom of Britannia!
Takeshis Second Battle
Next post definetly wont be until the new year.. see you on the other side earthlings!

To finish off i have here some fiction i wrote for a battle of Dystopian Wars in wich my Empire of the Blazing Sun battled against the dastardly Kingdom of Britannia!
Takeshis Second Battle
Takeshi
watched the bridge crew of the War Gyro The Imperial Sun with pride,
they would do well in the coming battle, of this he was certain.
The British forces were last seen moving through the jungle towards the drained basin of the former military harbour. This time they would not walk away with victory in their grasp, not even Commodore Sharp would be able to save the day though it was definitely a variable to look out for.

Patrol
duty was such a boring thing, thought Akihiro, the British forces
were not likely to reach the basin anytime soon so this was fairly
pointless. All of a sudden the driver of Akihiro's Chi-Ri tank cried
'Chikusho!', and looking out of the hatch he saw the entire British
battle group rumbling across the still slightly wet dirt of the
basin. Swearing loudly himself he ordered the gunners to attention
and yelled at his communications officer to signal the Ke-Hos and
Chi-Ris of his patrol to load the guns and prepare for battle. This
boring patrol had suddenly turned very ugly very fast.
Takeshi
read the communications transcript from one of the patrols rolling
across the basin and immediately ordered his bridge crew to sound the
all hands to battle stations alarm. Finally he would get his revenge
on Sharp!
Takeshi ordered his bombers and The Imperial Sun to take off towards the middle of the basin and the ensuing conflict.

Akihiro
watched as his friends and fellow soldiers died to the guns of the
British forces, at least they had sent the warning and reinforcements
were on their way. All that was left now was to sacrifice their lives
and take as many of the British dogs with them.
Hearing the sounds of of falling bombs above them Akihiro yelled at his crew to get as low into the Chi-Ri as possible, then dropped through the turret hatch into the main belly of the tank just as the bomb hit the top and blew the upper part of the Chi-Ri to little bits resembling the rays of the morning sun. Beaten and bruised by the explosion Akihiro fell unconscious to the floor of his battered Chi-Ri.

Noburu
could see the flashes of explosions and gunfire in the distance and
yelled at his driver to push the Chi-Ri to its limits, this was a
battle he could ill afford to miss, his friends needed the help of
his patrol.
Seeing the bone white hulls of the British MK II tanks he ordered his squad of Chi-Ri to form a line and move across the front of the British forces and shell the ugly demon like constructions into little bits not even fit for fish food!
His squad did not disapoint as the lead MK II exploded in a shower of fire and smoke not seen since the last new years celebration at the capital of the glorious empire.
Noburu was slightly concerned as he heard the loud roar of a squadron of Doncaster Bombers flying past overhead, their torpedoes would not be able to do much to his tanks but the bombs the abominable flyers could drop out of the back were more then capable of ripping the turret of a Chi-Ri, fortunately only minor damage was sustained and his squadron pressed the attack on the British.

Hearing
a yell from one of the communications officers Takeshi strode over to
his station and read the piece of paper the man handed to him,
apparently his two scouting squadrons of Chi-Ri and Ke-Ho tanks had
almost been obliterated to a man, this was a hard loss to bear but
one that Takeshi was fiercely determined to avenge.
Commodore Sharp may have taken out most of the land forces under his command but he still had the formidable power of the Japanese airforce and it was time that the British learned to properly fear the power of Incendiary Rockets and the pristine aim of Imperially trained gunners!
Takeshi watched as streams of rockets flew towards the enormous shape of the Eagle Class War Rotor only to be shot down by British fighter pilots, cursing their tenacity he ordered all guns brought to bear on the flying monster and in uncharacteristic fashion let out a cheer of victory as several explosions flared up across the left side engine pod, this was followed by the magnificent sight of a giant sturginium flare rippling across the hull of the eagle making it disappear from sight. Thinking the enemy destroyed the entire bridge of The Imperial Sun erupted in loud cheers and congratulations although this good mood was quickly replaced by a grim determination to finish the job as the Eagle reappeared on the battlefield, damaged but still in fighting condition.
Kaito surged forward in competition with the rays of the sun to see who would reach the British fighters first, naturally it was a fight he could never win but one he enjoyed all the same. He had been a fighter pilot for as long as he had served with the Imperial army, he never really enjoyed being on the ground, the sky was his domain and he ruled it with a passion not often seen in other pilots. Suddenly he saw the squadron of British fighters bursting out of a cloud formation, they had managed to get the drop on Kaito and his fellow fighter pilots, this did not bode well for him and his plane as they powered through the cloud banks but Kaito trusted in his skills with his fighter jet. Rolling to the left and climbing he hoped he could get up and behind the four British fighters, they had already shot down one of the other pilots in his wing, possibly Kuro, he had never had much faith in the man's abilities to control a fighter craft, he should have stayed on the bomber he had originally been assigned to. Kaito's strategy was rewarded by the presence of two British fighters in his sights and he said a silent prayer for the souls of the two airmen trapped in what was soon to become two very heavy steel coffins, pressing down on the firing stud he saw the wings of the first fighter shear off and the fighter went into a downward spiral, the second one just blew up. Kaito smiled to himself; today's hunt was off to a good start.
Takeshi strode over to the viewport of The Imperial Sun and looked at the squadron of bombers streaking towards their British counterparts, rockets streamed out towards the British but most seemed to be shot down before they could close and deliver their explosive presents. Takeshi made a mental note to study British ack ack gunnery training in more detail, they seemed very adept at what they were trained to do.
The continued presence of the British Eagle in the sky over the basin was a source of much irritation to Takeshi and he ordered the bombers to break off the attack on the British Doncasters and turn their attention to the Eagle, next he ordered all guns on The Imperial Sun to fire at the boat shaped hulls of the Doncaster Bombers. Boats in the sky! These British had clearly mistaken up for down. As an afterthought he ordered the communications officer to send orders for a nearby squad of fighter planes to move on the British bombers in support of The Imperial Sun, they might just be boats in the sky but a mind that could think up something heretical like that and make it work was not to be underestimated.
Kaito jinked left and right trying to avoid the bullets of the two remaining British fighters that had managed to get behind him, his fellow pilots were all soaring on the sun beams in the sky, no longer amongst the living and it seemed fate had decided it was time he knew how that felt but Kaito was an Imperial fighter pilot and he would not let go of neither his plane nor his life easily. He saw the mighty Bombards of the Imperial army rolling across the basin underneath him preparing to do battle with the British gunnery teams and threw a quick salute at them wishing them good fortune in their own hunt for British lives. Turning his attention back to his own fight for survival he threw his plane into a sharp left turn and found one of the British pilots in his sight, the pilot had apparently not been taught the basics of Japanese air tactics and would now pay the price for his lack of training, Kaito saw the man's plane riddled with holes and trailing black smoke and long strands of oil; mimicking the wounded man inside the mouth of the slain airbeast and saluted a fallen enemy. Another kill mark on the side of his plane if it survived the next few moments of battle in the sky. Feeling his engines give out Kaito knew that the time for humbleness in the face of fate had come, he saw the British plane fly past overhead and was surprised that he was not full of British produced steel right now, not one to refuse a padded jacket in summer Kaito thanked the eternal sun that decorated the Imperial flag and tried his best to steer his plane towards the nearest mud bank, maybe if he was lucky he could still survive this.
Death stalked the skies over the basin containing the Japanese base. Many lives had been lost, all around the basin were the burning hulls of tanks of both nations. It seemed the day would claim more lives yet , both British and Japanese. The end was drawing near.
Takeshi watched as the last of his bombers and fighters left the sky to live a new life down on the muddy flats of the basin. The British had not fared much better though and they were down to just a few Bombards, a Terrier and the Eagle that still managed to plague the sky over the basin, the rocket silos near the Japanese headquarters had even tried to bring it down with no success and Takeshi decided that it was time The Imperial Sun finished the fight it had started earlier in the day. Ordering his master of ordnance to prepare a full rocket salvo and fire when ready. He watched as they streaked across the sky towards the Eagle and was pleased to see the British ack ack gunners fail to connect the contents of their magazines with the bodies of the Imperial rockets. Explosions blossomed anew across the hull of the British Eagle and Takeshi knew victory was his.
As the propellors on the Eagle slowly stopped turning it dipped towards the earth and, with the rays of the sun glittering on its bullet ridden hull, slowly floated down to bury the eagle adorning its frontal armor in the muddy banks of the basin. Kaito opened his eyes and brought his hand up in front of his face to shield them from the sun that was shining in through the smashed cockpit of his fighter, apparently fate had decided he should still serve the nation that had given him a home in the clouds, he smiled and sunk back in the seat of his cockpit and waited for the recovery crew. Noburu climbed into the hull of the Chi-Ri and found Akihiro laying on the floor of the tank, shaking the body of his friend he was satisfied to see Akihiro open his eyes, the two Chi-Ri squad commanders were once again lucky enough to survive a fight with the British and would share stories of the day's conflict once they had been checked over by the medical personnel on the base.
Takeshi commended the personnel manning the stations aboard the bridge of The Imperial Sun and as he strode away towards his cabin he was reminded of an old proverb; 'If you wish to shoot a general, shoot first his horse.' and he smiled to himself.
Commodore Sharp may have taken out most of the land forces under his command but he still had the formidable power of the Japanese airforce and it was time that the British learned to properly fear the power of Incendiary Rockets and the pristine aim of Imperially trained gunners!

Right.. lack of updates as ive been too busy attending the club and celebrating Hitchens day!
There will be a further lack of updates of course as christmas is coming near and im going back to Denmark to enjoy some well crafted meat and good company!
I do have something to show tho as ive almost finished my 2 stands of Blades and 2 stands of Spears =D
Joy is currently experienced by you all im sure!!
Here they are all lined up on a box (a wonderful box i might add)
Here are the Spears!
And finally the Blades!
As usual i apologise for the quality of the pictures (dont enlarge them.. youll just be disapointed) but my phone is not exactly a deluxe Nicon 20 megapixel wonder so this will have to do for now as its the easiest way to get pictures on ^^
Right now they all need some flock and grass on the bases to make them look all nice and lovely and then a coat of varnish to seal them all so the paint wont chip and they will be ready to murder anything they come across! =D
Next part of my Hordes of the Things army will probably be my little Frogs.. then ill have all the large stands of infantry out of the way wich is pretty good but that is a project for the new year!!
Currently i am also enjoying the fuck out of Dagon.. listening to Cut to the Heart.. its AWESOME!
There will probably be another update or two before the 19th when i go back to Denmark as i had a game of Hordes of the Things (the game my lizards are for) at the club the other day that i want to talk about and also our Dreadball finally arrived!!! =D WOOOO!!!! I ofcourse snatched a couple of pics so i will let you all see the shiny new toys that are currently dominating the coffee table..
Until we meet again earthlings!!! o0

A blog.. yep that seems like an excellent idea!
Hopefully this will serve as an incentive for me to get some stuff done for once.. i could do with more painted armies!
There is also a decent chance that i will be using this space for some personal ranting so consider yourself warned.. also real bad grammar and swearing ahoy! ^^
Currently i am working on a Hordes of the Things army.. Lizardmen type people to be exact..
I got an almost done unit..
And here are the ones i have been working on today..
Hopefully they will reach the done stage tomorrow..
All thats really needed is some work on the teeth eyes and then a wash.. i do need to blacken up the bit between the feet aswel before i glue the little buggers on to their bases..
C&C welcome ofc..
I will be starting on some Cryx aswel very soon as i have just entered into a gentlemans agreement with one of my friends regarding some painting motivation..
I will be starting with Deneghra first and then a few Bonejacks and maybe a solo or a Helljack.. good things ahead!!
I am right now waiting for my Dreadball package to arrive.. damn you universe for not teleporting my shit to me straight away >< It does not seem like ill be getting it today but as soon as i do i will be throwing up some pics of the models and my drool all over them!!
Thats all for this first instalment of Soapbox shouting!!!
See you next time loyal minions!! ^^
